3CHI Lab Product Testing

3CHI provides the most comprehensive testing and purest cannabinoid products in the hemp industry. Our products are produced in our certified GMP facility and tested for accuracy at both our internal lab, led by a PhD analytical chemist, before being sent to an ISO-accredited third-party lab for full panel testing. These full panel tests include all basic tests but also include terpene testing on vape products.

NOTE: Vape product terpene testing is important because companies looking to artificially inflate cannabinoid content will send in a false sample containing no terpenes for testing and then sell a product with terpenes. One way to better ensure the cannabinoid content you see in tests is more accurate to what you’re actually being sold is to require terpene testing on your vape products.

3CHI Improves Lab Cannabis Testing Industry with D-SPEC

This 3CHI-developed method solved a persistent problem in High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) testing where ∆4(8)-iso-THC can be mislabeled as ∆9-THC, or vice versa, increasing the risk of illegal product being unwittingly sold by retailers.

This test created baseline resolution between ∆11THC, ∆9-THC, ∆4(8)-iso-THC, and ∆8THC in compliant hemp-derived ∆8-THC products, when no other lab could do it, allowing the industry to finally understand what was and was not actually a legal product.

At 3CHI, we aren’t just sending our products out for testing, we’re leading the way in discovering ways to test things more accurately and to know exactly what you’re getting in your products. No other hemp company comes close to being able to ensure you’re getting safe, consistent product like with 3CHI.

MULTIPLE LAB VERIFICATION

Due to no standardized testing existing for Delta 8 oil, testing can vary between labs. We periodically test at additional labs to ensure our oil is the best you’ll find and not a fluke of a single testing style of one lab. Here are samples of potency testing for our oil from different ISO 17025, NELAP, and State Cannabis Accredited Labs for comparison. Note that all tests are for bulk oil except for ElSohly Labs which tested a vape cartridge.

PRODUCT STORAGE

To ensure your products maintain potency we recommend they are stored in a cool, dark place away from sunlight, at 70°F or below. Heat and UV light are the main causes of cannabinoid degradation, so be mindful of where you keep your product. Refrigeration is not typically necessary unless it will take a few months or more to use your product. The typical shelf life of our products is 12 to 24 months but may vary.
